This cultural fusion is reflected in the architecture of gardens that extends from the spring of Ain Asardon to its surroundings. More

Mountain range in Morocco High Atlas, also called the Grand Atlas, is a mountain range in central Morocco, the highest part of the Atlas Mountains, After early pickup at your Marrakech accommodation, head south toward the Atlas Mountains by air-conditioned minivan with your guide. Admire the views and, after stops at a traditional village and argan oil co-operative, continue into lush, orchard-filled valleys framed by rugged peaks. Stop for a camel ride before venturing deep into the Imlil Valley. Break for Moroccan tea and cake on a scenic terrace and chat to your guide as to whether you want to hike, drive, or ride a mule to the next stop. Set out for Ait Souka Village the way you’ve chosen, absorbing the scenery and tranquility on route. Here, enjoy a traditional Berber lunch, including tajine (slow-cooked stew) and couscous, and visit a Berber family home to learn about their lifestyle. The dam at Bin El Ouidane provides the majority of the electricity in the region, but more importantly it's the location for the increasingly popular 11-day kayak school of Morocco Adventure & Rafting. Held once a year between April and May, the school spends two days on the lake running through the basics (no previous experience required) before launching off into the Ahansal Gorge. What follows are seven spectacular days of running rapids through 3m-wide gorges, river camping and turtle-spotting before returning in a loop to the lake. Aside from being awesome fun, it's a wonderful way to visit the dramatic Cathédrale des Rochers and Ahansal Valley, and affords a dramatically different perspective of the sheer rock gorges from the valley floor. Groups are limited to 12 people and are accompanied by two guides, a safety kayaker and a photographer. Sleeping bags are also available for hire if you don't want to carry your own. Exclusive trips can also be organised for a minimum of six people. More
